TN, India State Police launches Economic Offences Wing website

06 April 2007 The State Police of Tamil Nadu (TN), India has launched the new Economic Offences Wing website (www.tneow.co.in) to move one more step towards e-Governance.

The Director-General of Police D. Mukherjee has launched the website for economic offenses. ow, with the click of a button one, could find out the action taken on a complaint. It also obviates the need to travel long distances, particularly by the aged and the physically challenged, to seek information. The website will provide an insight into the working of EoW's three units, Commercial Crime Investigation Wing CID, Idol Wing CID and EoW.
