Aims and Objectives
e-GovWorld 2006 (South Asia) is the second conference in the series of International conferences/expositions aimed at enhancing collaboration and exchange of learning practices among the industry, academia, civil society organizations and the public sector. The first conference in the series titled e-GovIndia2004 was held in Chandigarh, India where Indian and European e-Government stakeholders exchanged their experiences.
Organizers
The Society for promotion of e-Governance (SPeG) is an independent non profit organization registered as a society with government of India. The organization is actively involved in research, consulting, training and advocacy programs aimed at accelerating e-Government, m-Government and e-Democracy initiatives. e-GovWorld 2006 (South Asia) and the country consultation meetings will be attended by the key people from the following domains:
