Role of e-Governance Standards Division, NIC
- Steer and manage the standardization activities
- Provide secretariat support to the Working groups Apex Body etc
- Constitute Working Groups with the approval of MietY
- Coordinate and monitor progress of the Working Groups, OTC(NIC), and other bodies for review of draft standards
- Submit draft document, draft recommendation to MietY for review and further submission for approval by Apex Body where appropriate
- Institutional Mechanism of e-Gov. Standards Formulation
- Develop and maintain web site for sharing of documents / white papers / proceedings / events announcements etc.
- Head e-Governance Standards Division coordinate and Process the hiring of consultants, manpower, wherever required.
