- The Centre would function as core for domain-specific research, product development, knowledge sharing and learning activities for TCS.
- FTC is already co-ordinating a major training program and imparting training to BFS associates
Instrumental in the development of IDRBT from its nascent stage to an Institution of excellence for technological issues for the entire Indian Banking and Financial Sector
- Coordinated Institute’s activities in setting-up the INFINET Network, Secure Messaging System that have become the platform for important intra-bank & inter-bank applications.
- Guided IDRBT’s initiative to become the Certifying Authority under Information Technology Act 2000 of Government of India. IDRBT has issued the largest number of Digital Certificates in the country.
- Coordinated the Institute’s initiative of setting up the National Financial Switch to interconnect ATM switches of the country and also act as Inter-Bank Payment Gateway for various e-commerce and e-governance Payment Transactions.
- Conceptualised, designed, launched M.Tech. & PGPBTM and EDP programmes. Supervisor of Doctoral students and instructor for Management graduates.
Member of various nationally important committees/working groups/missions/advisory boards/ inter-ministerial groups constituted by:
- The Government of India, Reserve Bank of India, Security Exchange Board of India etc., and was the director on the board of Society Electronic Transactions and Security (SETS), Clearing Corporation of India Limited (CCIL).
