As Director, Technology Policy & Standards in Delhi, India, Deepak Bhardwaj works with Government of India, Industry and Trade Associations in India and various State Governments in the area of Technology, Policy and Standards. The key focus area for his group is in Spectrum & IT Policy of Government of India, Digital Home and Digital Health, Open Source, Content, Security and eGovernance.
In his previous role as Client Manager for South & South East Asia, Deepak supported clients in diverse vertical market segments including government, manufacturing, defense, and consumer goods. He also worked closely with multi-national companies, consulting organizations, and fellow travelers of Intel. Deepak typically works on building strategic relationships with large organizations within the government of India such as the University Grants Commission, the Ministry of Communications and IT, the National Informatics Centre, various State Governments, the Indian Navy, and the Indian Railways.
Deepak joined Intel from EDS PLM, a product lifecycle management solutions company, where he managed product data management (PDM) and collaborative product commerce (CPC) solutions in India from pre-sales through post-sales. Deepak joined EDS after working for more than 12 years at Tata Motors (Telco) and Telco Construction Equipment Co. Ltd. in Jamshedpur.
